Collage
Contemplative Collage is a way I use to express myself. It is another way to move into art and story, which is something I mix in my creative writing work.
However, I’ve found collage as an insightful and inspiring team workshop. I’ve used it over the years with my own employees and teams as part of our staff retreats or as a workshop.
Team development collage provides a space for employees to step away from work for a moment and play in the creative space. It also opens up conversations and provides a way for teammates to see each other from a different perspective – more of the whole person and not just the person in the next cubicle.

A few things to note before deciding if this is the best option for you and your team:
- Sessions are two hours long
- This is not a ‘how-to’ workshop but a workshop that provides guidance and allows creative expression to flourish
- If in-person, the location must be secured by the facilitator.
- If online/virtual, supplies will be shipped and may increase the cost depending on the number of participants.
